Mini Alims LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blue Oak LLC (“Mini Alims,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of children, parents, and users of our Mini Alims educational application (the “App”), our websites, and other products and services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
Our websites are intended for adult use only. Our App is intended to be used by children under 13 only with the consent and oversight of a parent or guardian (“Parent” or “You”). An adult must download the App and create an account before permitting a child to use the App. Please contact us using the contact information below if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without consent from a parent or guardian.
This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we may share it, what rights you have, and how we safeguard data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information and usage information in connection with providing our App and other Services, including:
- Information You Provide. We collect information you provide to us, such as email address, password, account verification details, consent confirmations, as required by law, and information you provide when you contact our support team, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us. We also collect information you provide about your child, such as a name, profile avatar and age (or age group) provided during setup. We recommend you use nicknames, not real names, for added security.
- Information From Service Providers. We may collect information from or through third-parties we use to assist with providing the App or other Services to you, such as the companies who provide application marketplace services allowing you to download the App and make in-app purchases.
- Information Collected Automatically. We may collect certain information automatically when you use the App or our other Services, including: device type, operating system, app version, language settings, crash reports, performance logs, usage analytics, internet protocol (IP) address and approximate general location (city or region, not precise location).
- App Usage Information. We collect information about usage of the App, including features used, time spent on activities, devices used to access the App, and progress metrics such as activities completed or game scores. We may collect analytics data to help us measure traffic and user/usage trends.
We do not collect precise geolocation, phone numbers, or home addresses from children.
3. How We Use the Information We Collect
We may use or process the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, manage, develop, and improve the App and our other Services.
- To personalize learning experiences and track progress.
- To communicate with parents or guardians about account matters or support requests.
- To maintain the App’s security, fix bugs, and monitor performance.

We do not use children’s personal information for targeted advertising or marketing.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and misuse. When data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
6. International Data & Legal Compliance
Our App and other Services are operated and managed on servers located within the United States. If you choose to use our App or Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that differ from United States law, then you acknowledge that we will transfer your personal information to the United States for the purpose of providing the App or Services to you in accordance with our contract for any other purpose for which you provide explicit, informed consent. Your information may also be processed in jurisdictions outside of the United States, such as when our service providers are located in other countries, in accordance with applicable law.
We strive to comply with relevant global privacy requirements when applicable, including COPPA in the United States and the General Data Processing Regulations (GDPR) in the European Union.
For personal data subject to the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases to process the data:
